I wonder if they actually thought the acronym through, or it was a sneaky attempt by a disgruntled moderator to get some dirt back in there.

New GO Regulator! I am a bit of a sucker for Regulators, so I am pretty excited about this one! Any thoughts?

Saw images of the new GMT the other day and immediately called my AD to put my name on the list. 3-4 months, and I can hardly contain my excitement.

I like it. I'm not sure if I could get use to telling time on a regulator, but I do like this one.

I will always like the old "Pepsi" GMTs, but this watch is hot! I like this a lot more than the old "Coke" red/black bezel. I look forward to seeing some pix after you have given one a new home.

Oh my goodness! They re-invented the wheel! Who said Rolex was lacking innovation?

They might have been inspired by Gmail Blue!

But in all seriousness ... I'd prefer the Pepsi bezel, but it seems to be like a more subdued version of it... thumbs up!

dropped my speedmaster and it seems to be losing like 15 seconds per day. do you think there is damage to the movement and I should get it repaired under warranty? I also dented the damn case so I'm pretty sad :(

I don't think warranty is going to cover you dropping it. The movement in the Speedmaster is pretty durable though. I dropped mine from 6 feet and it was running fine after. I serviced it a few months ago and it was running perfectly. If it didn't stop altogether I don't think you "broke" anything serious.

Here is my old, defunct white dial Daytona, worn while watching over the kiddies this fine Sunday afternoon.

I have also figured out the difference between the NEW SS Daytona release this 2013 and my current "vintage" model. Here's a pictorial tutorial (oh nice, that rhymes):

See the blue arrow pointing at the OLD Daytona's lug and how it does NOT connect with the chrono pusher? OK. Now take a look at the RED arrow pointing at the NEW Daytona's lug and how it DOES connect / slope through the chrono pusher.

See it? See it? See how the lug "slopes through" the top pusher straight through the crown? And how the crown guard at the bottom "slopes through" the bottom pusher to "become" the lug? THAT'S innovation, boys and girls. Now, line up at your ADs and pay that premium!

I love it. I liked the original Senator Chronometer. The Regulator version is just a little more special.

Unfortunately, it's probably only made in white or red gold, again. Unattainable for me at the moment, but high on the "someday" list.

Blue and black looks bad, I don't know why Rolex didn't release Coke and Pepsi although they are probably trying to sell blue/black before they release the other ones.

Lol blue and black does not look bad at all. You may not like it, but I think they go wonderfully together. Also, i dont think they are trying to sell something before they release a secret better model. Thats kind of a silly speculation imo.
