Most (all?) JLC reversos are below retail, but not the 1931 Tribute. What would you pay for it? Worth the uptick? I'm personally a fan of tribute models (hence the PP 5196) so JLC 1931 is pretty on-brand for what I would purchase, but it's weird to pay above retail ($7.7k) for it

Yeah and it's great. If you're not an idiot it's actually quite hard to get ripped off in there. Have bought sold ~7 figures of watches NP. Made a bunch of friends too through it. I love it.
Which version of the group, exactly? When I searched I found 2 “public” groups and 2 “private” ones.

Here's the official $10k one for anything below $10k

Here's the other one for everything over $10k

Vancouver
Makes sense then. My brother teaches at UBC and I’ve been to Vancouver a lot, being within a short flight or a long drive from there. The second capital for Chinese food in Canada.

The market is what the market is. I was willing to pay the premium for the 1931 because I just liked it a lot more than the current production models. I also suspect that if JLC brought something similar back to production, they’d charge a similar premium given how fast they have been jacking prices lately. It’s also not a watch I’ll ever sell so if it does loose some value I don’t care.
