Really impressed with the Piaget Altiplano Extreme Tourbillon watch, 2mm thick with a tourbillon which is flying in the extreme, it isn’t held at either the top or the bottom, rather it rotates in a ball race.

It’s an amazing piece of Horology, but they are only making 15 and the price is €600,000. Looks like they are going after the RM clientele

This IS a super cool watch, but I agree with much of the critique pointing out that anyone with 30k+ to blow on a watch, could do much better than a Tudor. Ironically, that sort of positions this watch as the ultimate wealth flex, insofar as the owner doesn’t mind blowing 30k+ on a Tudor. Both of these scenarios bother me.

One can only hope that "grail" collector culture no longer exists in the way it does today by the time that Tudor is old enough to become a collector's item.
Collector culture will exist until our alien overlords turn us into cogs in the machine of life
