Lots of Explorer I's lately, it's been the most worn watch for me this year. It's interesting because it sat in the box for couple of years and has now become a favorite.

On a different note, I've been thinking Cartier for some time. Really like the Cartier Tank Must but torn on size, I tried Tank Must XL and still deciding whether it is too big, thoughts?

Also tried Cartier Santos while I was in the store and was pleasantly surprised, it is a very nice watch, size is Medium. Thoughts?

I think that the tank is a little big and that the Santos might be a little small. A shot of large Santos on you would help. (I kinda like the no-date . . . ).

The more I think on it, that medium Santos is probably just right.

I think it looks bigger on pictures, on wrist it looks a bit more balanced. The stock strap is horrible though and would need to be replaced. The Large is too small and runs on quartz, not appealing at all.
The Tank is a classic! Although, the XL seems a bit big for many men. Perhaps as you suggest it fits better than the photos suggest. The Santos is a great watch and IMHO a great value. I've had mine for over 4 years and I love it. Wishing you luck with whatever you decide.

Surprised people still program the Franck D minor, I’d have thought any kind of Franck appreciation from the general public went out the window decades ago.
