Do any of you collect or own a pocket sundials? Think this is a collection stream i want to entertain.

Reminds me of the joke of the first time a guy went to a nudist camp and was questioned by a woman why he was “at attention”. He replied it was a sundial. So she asked him what time it was and he said 12:00pm. She said “wrong! It’s 2:00pm”. So he replied, “oops, apologies, it needs to be hand wound”.

Sorry, Sir. I wasn't aware that only owned watches are allowed in this thread. Just wondered why the brand I mentioned did not get any recognition here, yet. I oblige and promise to do better in the future. Just thought somebody might be interested in niche brand alternatives to RLX, JLC, GP, VC and other well known manufacture calibre manufacturers.

No issues posting pics that aren't yours. I think the reason nobody commented on it is that Pequignet just doesn't have a real online presence or much awareness for some reason. My main awareness of the brand comes from a 9 year old Watchuseek thread https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/thoughts-on-pequignet.1088543/ .

They don't seem to get any press, but they do seem to make some interesting things.

That said I wonder why I cannot find a single word about Pequignet, the swiss-french brand that introduced a fully inhouse developed manufacture calibre with some interesting complications
For anyone curious, here's the page on them from the Wristwatch Annual that was just released this week. I've never actually seen one IRL before.

Enough with the Explorer’s. They are bland nothingness! The Time’s is on it…
Rolex Explorer in SS... for those who's favorite s3x position is missionary with lights off.
Rolex Explorer in two tone... for those who's favorite s3x position is missionary with lights on.

Panerai is another watch brand you only need one of. Every financebro in the 2010s bought one with their first bonus. The lugs are like the arms on a T-Rex.

The two-tone Bluesy submariner is for the guy who likes to film himself - think American Psycho (although that was supposed to be a datejust).

They look nice but I've never heard of the brand. Not even on Hodinkee.
These are rare as eg Moser& Cie and feature inhouse developed manufacture calibers. Some of the finest in the industry. But without the usual price tag. So nothing for guys like @Scuppers to show of with ;-). Think Isaia, not Kiton in RTW.
