Already standing in the queue for the new fabulous golden-handed one, while writing smart comments?
Nope, wearing my Piaget today, what about you ?

But, thinking of it I might buy one (but I don’t like to queue though).
I can wear a Uniqlo jacket or a Cordings Blazer, Church’s or Nike; or a Piaget, a Rolex, or a MoonSwatch. As long as I am happy…
It’s called diversity.

Fine, I have nothing against diversity. If everyone would have good taste, there would be no possibility to stand out.

Just wired funds for a long-time favorite watch that I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to buy (even though its not that expensive). I've been wanting to consolidate some more and this will prove to be a good reason to do so. I'll essentially be making a 4-for-1 trade, with the toughest one to let go being my Sinn U50, but I can always buy one of those again. I don't know when/if I'd see another one of these for the same price again.

I'm not into yellow gold for myself, but not only is that a very pretty watch, it's also a very... cozy combination with that suede strap. Makes it a perfect match for the knit and denim too.
Thank you! I never used to like yellow gold either. Interesting how our tastes can shift over the span of our lives. The watch came on a burgundy lizard strap that was a little too dressy for most of my attire. I also really like the juxtaposition of a well made "dressy" item with slightly more casual clothes. Nice sweater/cardigan, selvedge jeans, Tricker's brogue boots, and a vintage IWC. Perfect for a day of wandering around Seattle. Thanks again and take care!

The JLC Geophysic 1958 tribute that was released back in 2014. One of the first watches I remember following at release as a little watch know-nothing, simultaneously not understanding why it was so expensive, why was it limited and why I didn't have enough money to buy one.

Still don't feel it's worth the price it went for back in 2014, I guess a rerelease now would probably be even more ridiculous...but at the price I'm paying, I am super excited. I've been following the secondary market for it almost ever since and I don't think I've seen one sell for under $7500. I had considered buying one a couple of times at around $8k, but hadn't quite convinced myself of it.
