This doesnt make any sense to me. The Cartier Santos Dumont CPCP that I got my wife came with a deployant and I cant imagine describing it as bulky or obtrusive.

What doesn’t make sense? Obviously you can pair a deployant with anything you want and Cartier makes a great deployant. The fact that they paired a deployant to your wife’s watch doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be nicer with a buckle. No matter what, a deployant will be much bigger and heavier.

Keep in mind, when CPCP was a thing, the popular WIS belief was that all good watches should have deployants.

Holy hand-polished Breguet numerals, Batman!

Unfortunately (or fortunately), I went with a 6x loupe instead of a 10x. I can’t get super zoomed-in shots.

Trying to take movement photos, but so far nothing very helpful. You can see a lot more looking straight through the loupe with your own eyes.

That loupe is amazing, it really reveals the flaws that are missed with the naked eye.
