Are the Inis Meanin tunics really that much smaller than the sweaters? I have a pub jacket in medium, and as a 40L it fits really well. I would expect to swim in an XL.

What is the fit like? The leg opening measurement makes me wonder if it's slim or tapered. Is it big-thigh friendly?

I would say slightly relaxed/regular fit with slight taper in the lower leg. I'm an EU48 in Rota and most other brands. I'm also a former sprinter so these accommodate my larger thighs.
