Dude, you do realize that shipping to Alaska and Hawaii (and US Territories, for that matter) works the same way as shipping to the lower 48, right?

Correct, presuming USPS. UPS and Fedex jack the rates which is why many of the companies that use their service add the CONUS caveat.

Yeah, I should've added USPS to that statement. I assume that the vast majority of people are shipping clothing either First Class or Priority.

I know for a fact that it costs about $125 more (basically double the price) to ship a bike to Alaska versus New York via FedEx.

I wasn't aware. I've never shipped anything to Alaska or Hawaii. But I don't think we have any members from there anyways so oh well.

No worries, it's just a pet peeve, and you're a good guy, so I thought you should know.

I can even say it's exactly the same price to Hawaii and Alaska when it's shipped from Canada

In a reversal of recent events, I'm looking for a belt. Something fairly basic, dark brown leather or leather tabs, but preferably with a little extra interest to it and sized to fit a 38" waist. Something like bison leather, a shotshell keeper, or a simple emblematic (maybe even needlepoint?) would be great. My little brother's headed off to college and I'm giving him a slight wardrobe upgrade for his birthday. Already bought him a pair of dark brown 2-eye boat shoes from LL Bean and a timex weekender with a dark brown horween horsehide strap, looking to complete the set with a belt.

Hey fellas, I'm looking for a fairly recent and slimmer cut navy suit. No DB, and I prefer a softer shoulder. Make is not a huge deal, but the wimpy lapels are a no-go for me. Flat front preferred as well. I'm not afraid to pay above thrift + profit, so get at me.

Shoulder to shoulder 18"
Chest 40"
Sleeve 33"
Waist 33" Inseam 30"

My wallet exploded
confused.gif
. Mid-2000s YSL, deerskin I think.
Not sure exactly what to call the style, it was a flat 2-sided card case with a center slot where I could jam bi-folded bills.
We had a good 10 year run, but sadly it's over now.

So I'd like to find a replacement. Doesn't have to be the same style, I'd consider most anything, but it's a pretty personal accoutrement so please bear with me if I seem fussy. I'll know it when I see it, as they say. I'll be hunting on my own meanwhile but maybe somebody out there in thrift land has something dope?

I've got all manner of good stuff, feel free to get at me. Thanks!
