Swung back by the Samuelsohn sale and it looks like prices have gone way up. Way more stock seemingly at all sizes from the original day. One of the 3 jackets I bought last time was too large of a fit so I exchanged for an unstructured cashmere from NY 2015 show.

If you're a larger size 40, then there is now a nice navy cashmere I returned.

PSA: Holt Renfrew at Yorkdale has a few Salvatore Ferragamo Tramezza wholecuts (Carmelo model) in black suede for sale as of late last night. They're about $240 down from $1200, so 80% off. I know they had 9 1/2 EE, 10 EE, and 12 EE, but not sure about other sizes. They run about one size larger than the number indicated. I almost bought a pair, but I have way too many dress shoes that I don't wear already.

Not for classic menswear....I do remember one salesperson constantly telling one customer that this particular sneaker that he was trying on was an insanely good deal - I think the brand was Buscemi. I don't know the price, but I assume it would probably be in the 70-80% off range if the salesperson kept mentioned how great a deal it was

I see, thank you! Did you check small sizes' rack too? I am a US 8 to 9 depend on brands, just want to see if I should go there too.

Everything was placed together on a couple of sale racks. I remember there being a number of smaller shoes, don't know the sizes, however. The majority were sneakers and casual shoes about 40% off. The Ferragamos were outliers in terms of price.

YMMV. She told me she was not supposed to and when I went there wasn’t another person in the store so maybe that helped.

Saw strange thing at Holts. They had Canali ties priced at $135. But they weren't marked as on sale. They were regular-priced tags. CETA savings being passed down?

Checked Norstrom, they don't have too many classic shoes now, saw a Santoni FARM Brown Oxford at 52% off, like 430+tax i think

thanks for the update. Is there very much sportcoat stock in sizes 36-38?

BTW, I noticed that several Marshalls/Winners have some Paul Stuart white dress shirts (made in USA) for about $33. Have seen sized 15.5 to 17 range.
