I find I really only need one pair of raw denim. $100-$200 and you should be set for 5-10 years lol. A few white tees from Uniqlo and maybe splurge on one from CDG Play ;).

Loungewear you can't beat Old Navy tees for $5 which are a cotton blend so they don't require ironing. Uniqlo sweats.

Splurge on shoes, wool slacks, sport coats, ties etc.

Well I fold my t-shirts and they develop creases so to have the perfect crisp white t-shirt I do give it a quick iron or use the steamer. Maybe it's just me.
I speak for myself. It's just you. I have never ironed any t-shirts.

Then again, I likely don't look as sharp and spiffy as you gentlemen.

Wondering if anyone has a favourite shop/ brand for <$100 linen shirts/ pants? The only shop I could think of is Banana Republic after discount.

You can check out Simons online as well for linens.

I bought a pair of linen trousers from them 3 years ago and they've held up marvelously.

Gents, I'll be posting up the details for the Spring event today.

It'll be at Spier and MacKay on April 27.

Gents, I'm going to be in Paris/South of France in June. Any suggestions on good quality shorts? Most available shorts are far too schlubby/sporty. I have a pair of Incotex that I love, and ideally I'd like something similar in terms of styling (dressy, like a Bermuda short) ideally in the $100 range. I'm open to linen or light fabric pants.

I got tired of trying to find a good solution for shorts - I've tried JCrew, Club Monaco etc. - finally I broke down and sent a pair of Orlebar Brown swim trunks to Luxire to copy and convert into shorts with a bit of a longer inseam. Definitely, the best decision as now I have perfectly tailored shorts in various fabrics like seersucker, madras, linen, chambray and jersey knit...
