Thanks for the input. I've been in the market for some great polos that can be worn under a jacket when I don't want to wear a dress shirt but I've been disappointed with the quality of SM's polo fabric and fit.

Kent Wang seems to have a decent following although I'm also not the biggest fan of their extreme cutaway collar. It's not worthwhile to pay $22 USD shipping though.

I can't find any other great candidates.

Maybe take a look at Collaro? They have a MTM polo offering and a bunch of collar customization options.

Depending on where you live, how many polos you want and how much shipping costs within the USA, a cross border shipping service could be an option if you can't find anybody to split the order with.

Shoot dates at me, I'm back from Florence January 17th. So January 27th?

I'd prefer a Friday mid afternoon (maybe 15:00-18:00?), though I'm flexible. On weekends the access to the building is closed, so I'd need to let everyone in individually, so I don't think a weekend day would work even though it's probably most convenient. But, depending on what peoples availabilities are, I can accommodate.

If it's possible, the 20th would work better for me. I'll be in Belgrade on the 27th...

I really like the sweater, and I think it fits you great.

Are they still doing half-price? Is $400 the full price, or after discount?

is this from the inis meain brand? Is this 100% wool?

Yes it's IM. Not sure the exact breakdown. It was an 80/20 split between 2 types of wool/fabric but I forget exactly what.

Yes half price. Reg price was $725, so it'll be $362.50 + tax.

Switched the date to the 20th and tried picking a time that could accommodate people that may be working during the day. I’m not publishing this anywhere publicly except for SF and my IFC Instagram account because I’m not sure yet how many people will attend.

I’ll send it to my own individual clients and some friends for the time being. I know my friends Pedro Mendes and Sebastian Espinosa have been interested in attending, so we’ll see if the dates and times work out for them as well. But, if you could RSVP, I could get an idea on how many people I may expect. +1’s are definitely welcome.

Bucharest Tailor- 429 Eglinton Avenue West
I’ve had good luck with Mr. Soltani at Royal Custom in Yorkville. He’s reasonably priced, and usually able to turn things around in less than a week.
Also @induere_to he is downtown toronto
The Tailor and Cleaner on King St. I drive almost 45 min just to go there. Make sure to call ahead as shop hours are more of a suggestion lol.

Thank you for the recommendations and Happy New Year.

Are sale item permitted in this thread (it's been while since I've been around these parts)?

I found this BB Black Fleece (aka Thom Browne) shirt at the back of my closet that I had basically never worn. Size BB2 (which I guess is around a 15.5/16). I had the sleeves slightly slimmed, but this is totally reversible. $60 if you want it. Located near St Lawrence Market.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
