It was a beautiful coat, but I wondered the same. I saw a suit I bought just during the last Canadian outlet sale, for *way less* around this time. Oh well.

It was indeed beautiful but melting snow will soon dye it to a greyish color. I really had no incentive to buy but a SC just over $100, oh well.

Did Braemore Ties go under? Their website seems to have been taken over by a domain squatter and their Instagram account hasn't posted since 2016. Too bad!

Do you guys know how we can shop at HR outlet? Do they offer a virtual tour to show what they have?

I know Holts is offering curbside orders right now, but I've never tried an outlet. Do they even have that in Toronto?

Not sure about the Rosen outlet. For Holt Renfrew, you can also place an order through their SAs via IG for sale items that are unlisted on their website.

Not finding anything remotely worth buying this boxing day. Pretty much out of ideas for anything to buy. How many pairs of shoes, SCs, coats, and shirts do we actually need? Most of what I have just sit untouched in the closet.

Despite having so many pairs of shoes, I'm only wearing beaters when going out for a quick walk because of the weather & salt. There are people that wear Galways or even high end bespoke as beaters, but that is a bit too opulent for me.

I know their emails they send out (Harry Rosen outlet) make mention of "virtual appointments" via FaceTime or Zoom. I have not tried these though, so can't comment on how they are.

Call them up and ask about it

Has anyone purchased pants made by Alberto or Echizenya before? Seems like HR also sells Alberto.

The camel pants are polyester so would not recommend. The black trousers are on the trimmer side so would also not recommend, unless that's the aesthetic you're going for. Personally - the "Made In ..." tag doesn't really matter - only the quality of the end product matters. If that's something you're confident that would fit you, then go for it. But it's on final sale, so it's your decision on whether to pull the gun.

thanks. I posted these as an example of the brands and their style.

You’re right though, the “made in” tag shouldn’t matter. I try to not let it influence me, but it definitely does
