Another pair of Canadian made boots just arrived. WM Moorby by Canada West. I also have 3 pairs of Boulet boots that are made in Winnipeg.

CW still makes boots and shoes for the Canadian military and some police forces. Fit wise, snug around ankle and heel area. Toe box is very roomy and square. I scored these for cheap from a seller on Facebook. Stitching isn't bad, with 270 GYW. Vibram 430 sole. Leather doesnt seem to be that great, relative to other brands. I will have speed hooks installed.

I would put Boulet well above WM Moorby. Boulet has nicer leather and I find final QC is tighter. I would love to own Viberg and Dayton as well. I've been wearing boots more than shoes these days, so might as well go with Canadian made ones.

Nice! What’s the damage for a pair of boots like these?

$200-300 range. A few Toronto stores carry WM Moorby. Gravity Pope had a sale recently and I believe the prices were in the low 200 area.

For the price, I would go with Boulet for better leather and execution.

I now have 3 pairs of Boulet boots bought through Gary Coakley's shop. Canadian made, and quality is arguably better than Red Wing or Wolverine 1000 Mile. Stitching and QC is tight and consistent. The black and dark brown pair are chromexcel so just need some conditioning. These are also my best fitting and most comfortable pairs of boots. Gary added speed hooks. These will be used as my indoor footwear.

Buy Canadian made, and support local workers.

Boulet boots in chromexcel have joined my arsenal for indoor footwear. The wedge soles are incredibly comfortable. Fit and comfort get top billing. Happy to keep Canadian workers busy by purchasing their goods.

You’re wearing them at home, routinely? :confused2:

I have 6 brand new pairs. Never worn outside. They are my designated indoor footwear. My feet and back thank me for this move.

I haven’t bought much from Brooks Brothers in the last couple of years, but boxing day was always a good time to pick something up for a great price.

With the current lockdown, and the fact that there is no Canadian website to shop at, does anyone know if BB has offered any options to us?

A local menswear store located in Oakville is having their boxing day sale online for the first time. Some highlights are Eton Shirts 50-80% off, Drake's Ties 50% off, L.B.M. & Boglioli jackets on sale as well. Lot more brands but I'll let you guys parse through yourselves. Check it out here https://blazerformen.com/collections/boxing-day-sale
Thanks! Anything’s in particular you think are great deals? Trench coats seem good to me in the $300-$400 range.

suitsupply must have a tough year, this year their pricing is like 50% lower than previous boxing day. Many SCs, suits are under $150 or even $100. An off white overcoat by E Thomas was quickly sold out when I was debating whether to buy it because the color does not work well with Canadian winter
