Great to see Salvo and Peter this morning. Got to pick up my green corduory jacket and try on some other things. The brown Drapers 6-ply will probably be my favorite, but I'm super pleased with how they all turned out. The fit is so much better than I've had from other makers, and Salvo's such a pleasant guy to talk to. Wish I could speak Italian, but I thank Peter for translating when needed. Peter also took some pics of the garments while they were on me and hopefully will post them.

Here's a couple I just took of the inside of the corduory jacket with its impressive handwork:

Here's a few shots of other some of the beautiful things waiting for those with appts today and tomorrow:

@imatlas's corduroy suit that I admired last time:

It also seemed like everyone had ordered pants of the taupe Drapers 4-ply this time.
Mark,
Your corduroy jacket turned out spectacularly! I knew it would be good when I saw it last visit. I'm very pleased with my items, I nearly forgot about the fabric on the sports coat you mentioned as it was commissioned right before covid hit...

Enjoyed the trunk show today. I don't know if @UrbanComposition plans to stay on as an interpreter for the company, but I think he adds a lot to the service and experience.

I also saw some incredibly tasteful fabrics, which I believe belong to @Moraga'd. This brown glen plaid Fox tweed has a subtle blue check, which I think would nicely echo blue and blue-striped shirts

Zegna CashCo still looks very good to me. I took some snaps of the swatches. These are the medium wales. I really like #75104. Kind of like grey, green, and brown all mixed together. A bit modern looking.

And these are the slightly wider wales

Yes, those 3 lengths of Fox were mine. Thanks for the compliment @dieworkwear. The Zegna Cashco caught my eye (and hand too as it's incredibly soft). I have a small preference for the wider wale. Maybe a jacket will be in order next year.....

Was great to meet Peter and Salvo this weekend. Ordered a DB blazer in VBC navy hopsack. Opted for 2 patch pocket, 2 sleeve buttons spaced apart and with silver colored buttons. He didn't have much with him so will pick them out virtually.

Salvo doesn't fool around - my suit coat and sport coat's patch pockets were placed weirdly, so both went back to Sicily with him to be lowered. Salvo sent me this photo this AM - I was concerned if they would need to be recut for pattern matching purposes, but they did not.

Pic dump. I realize I should've taken more, but...

I took closeups of some of @emptym 's jackets so you can see the chest canvas is extended into the sleeve to produce the "manica mappina." @taxgenius mentioned this is something that the Armoury does for their Model 3.

I forget what all the fabrics are, but I think there are some Fox and Drapers Ascot 6-ply in there...extremely jealous of the polo coat.

I like the lapels on that single-breasted peak lapel. IMO, that configuration is hard to get right. I don't know why.

That SBPL would look good on a navy mohair suit with a one-button closure and jetted pockets. Would be a cool evening suit.

Do most people opt for hand made button holes over machine?
