In my eyes it's too smart and sharp (look at that lapel), whereas a traditional polo coat is roomier, looser and rounder.

to me it's the overall shape too, at least on that angle it looks kind pear shaped

Depends on the exact model/year I guess, mine has a self undercollar just like the Cordings one (and most all others lodens I've encountered tbh)

Where in NYC might I buy, or from which tailor might I commission, a camel-colored double-breasted polo coat with turn-back cuffs, patch pockets, and an ulster/stand-up collar? The closest I can get is J Press, but it doesn't have the ulster collar. Online also works too. I'd usually go for Spier & Mackay but their model this year has a few too many details.

Yes, the company is Swedish, but clothes are made in China. They used to use same factory as Suitsupply in the past. Don't know about this one, though.
