How is it? I am gifting a 2014 pinot to the FIL and just ordered 6 of the 2013 from the LB marathon.

How does that compare to the Cirq?
More black fruit and earth. Power versus finesse. How does that compare to the Cirq?
Thanks…wonder how the Oregon Pinot is.More black fruit and earth. Power versus finesse.
Please do report back. I had a 91 a few months ago, was still very alive. If served blind I would have guessed Bordeaux, but was very enjoyable.View attachment 1722730
Gonna try this with the football game tonight.
I am not hopeful that it will still be good. Which would suck since I have another four of them.
It was not dead, but it was not as good as the 97s I recently drank. Fruit was present, no tannins to speak of. Acid was a bit too much for the fruit. Typical Thackery eucalyptus still there. In my experience there is a lot of bottle variation with aged Orion. Hopefully one of the other bottles is great. Please do report back. I had a 91 a few months ago, was still very alive.
