Some interesting value in this blend of tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon, syrah and merlot from the Valencia region

If I see that one I'll try it. As for the one I just drank I plan to go back and get a half dozen next week. It really does drink like a quality Paso wine (in before Paso != quality) but for about $14 vs. > $50.

15 months in new French oak, unfiltered. 50 year old vines in very sandy soil.

Very. Walker Bay is by far the best SA region for pinot. Other notable producers are Crystallum, Bouchard Finlayson, Newton Johnson, Hamilton Russell.

Yeah, terrific. Showing some nasty (lovely) bloody meat.Was considering their Syrah as well but pile up on the pinot noir instead.

Reliable mid-price cab. More on the traditional side, red fruits and some astringency compared to the opulent Napa style.
