Lovely Woolrich sadly not my size but fell prey to nit being able to resist buying interesting stuff, hopefully will be subject of ongoing trade proceedings. Also found a Charvet tie.

Was this in those buildings you were going to go through? If not, what ever happened with that?

Yep, same place. Finally got the green light to go ahead. They're leaving the house unlocked for me. Took a quick peek today but am going back with a friend, his truck and trailer and a few flashlights tomorrow. There's stuff in the attic, which is a good sign. Didn't look in the basement but that could hold some goodies too.

sounds crazy, but someone could prop make use of those old scraps of leather...........
Btw Ill post more pics and a story about the marine jersey later when I post the rest of my finds.

You're probably right. I'll likely grab it tomorrow when I go back to do some more digging.

What says you? Still wearable or toast? Wife gave me the most disgusted look ever when I brought these in the house.

After some leather conditioner. Softened right up. I think with some new soles these could still be worn.

Still have three sheds, the rafters of said sheds, the basement and the attic of the house to go through tomorrow.

Almost cried over this one. RIP 1940's leather sheepskin lined bomber jacket. You've kept many mice warm over the years...
Sometimes I get the heebie-jeebies in regular thrift stores. I look at that and I just think "hantavirus". Looks like it was an amazing jacket tho but too much for me.

Have been traveling for work (Sri Lanka, Dubai, Palma) so no thrifting for me. Did stop by the Dubai Mall though:

These are beauties !!!!!!!

Thanks Sparrow. My first and only shells. Alden did a nice job giving them new life. Am clearing my shoe collection out to make way for this pair as they will be worn regularly.

Lanvin Egyptian themed scarf and a vintage Versace necktie.

I grabbed these to fit in a bit more around here lol. size 34, nordstrom tag inside em. Available.

I can't take photos of the marine jersey yet. But I found it at a salvation army in a sketchy area. Everything usually sucks at this location because they send all the good stuff elsewhere. Really nobody who knows there stuff goes to a lot of these places.
