Another recent find: the Gloverall duffel coat. It's the 70% wool, 30% poly blend version, so not perfect, but a good replacement for my too-big pea coat.
Does anyone know where to find a replacement for the broken "antler" toggle? I know Gloverall sells sets, but I only need one, and also don't want to have it shipped from the UK. Anyone have a source?

Hermes is fake. sorry. The bias is off and that tag doesn't go with the print ties

Bummer--but I think you're right. Well, it was only $3, and I'll probably return it anyway.

I could have sworn that I had seen another prl quilted tie here lately.

And boo spoo! I say he goes to an art store, finds a suitable replacement, makes a unique button, and picks up an art student!

Need you be reminded of the Kiton 7 folds you found?

Yes, well....

Incidentally, apropos of nothing at all, has anyone ever read Tolstoy's "How Much Land Does A Man Really Need?"

Good stuffs today:

Two shirts that fit like a glove!

Very nice shirts.

No Marinella today. Passed on some wildly overpriced BBGF ties, and ended up with one T&A tie, one vintage PRL herringbone tweed (dual vent, ticket pocket), one pair of Corneliani flat front linen and a pair of J Crew selvedge.

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
