hey dudes
what are your opinions on bringing guns into goodwills? does having a gun with you make it not okay to be a flipper? what if you have a gun and find a five dollar bill on the floor? are you stealing from the homeless?

Awesome. Now it's escalated to hypothetical armed robbery.

And here I thought I was done stirring up trouble after the thanksgiving family visits were done.

Every once and a while I think it is neat to combine all of our historically heated thread discussion into a single topic. Conceptually, it is like the Superstrom Sandy of subjects that rile up the SF thrifting thread.

I've learned a very valuable lesson from all this - apparently none of the clothes I buy are really brag worthy. With the exception of jkidd, it's all been about the $20.

Seriously, I love that Brooks Brothers vest. Not high end or anything, but I think it's my new favorite piece of clothing.

i would respond to your question but i'm too busy taking hundreds of USPS priority mail envelopes from the post office to use for double-wrapping the packages i send out via fedex.

I found another pair of RRL selvedge jeans today at the same place I found the other ones a few weeks ago. Kinda weird since RRL isnt all that common here.

They are available if anyone is interested. They have been shortened and they dont work for me.

Waist - 17"
Thigh - 12"
Leg Opening - 8.25"
Front Rise - 10"
Inseam - 29"

They are tagged as 32x34 Slim Boot Rinse.

Found two pairs of PRL pants. One is super soft flannel that is fully lined (front and back) above the knee. There is no other tag other than the dry clean only tag, but they scream quality. Who makes the good pants for them again?

I've also heard Tyvek envelopes make great ammo bags.

As someone who has thrifted in the Nati the past few years, our good finds are what the LA guys use to wash and dry their cars with.

As for the $20, if you would have pocketed the funds then walked, I would have said that was wrong. But based on your post, looks like yo spent the $20 and then some.

Earlier in the year I found a Brookd Brothers suit with the wrong pants. Over in the pants I found the correct pants...so I switched the pants and bought the suit. Was that wrong since that's how GE put it out?
