That good, huh? :D

Oh yeah.

did not do any thrifting today... til about 8pm, when headed home, got the urge so stopped at one store...

SICK! I love Belvest suits. Very nice.

This might be a stupid question, but have you thought about hiring someone to take photographs for you? Advertise at the local college, pay between $10 to $15 an hour, have them come in one or two days a week to photograph for you? (find someone who will work for clothes?)
Yes, it will make your taxes a little more complicated - but, if you have a great haul while someone else photographs, you will make more than if you yourself do the photographing...

Just hired my wife as my first full time employee :) but shes on the back end... financials, shipping, etc. Not the creative side... not quite sure I trust someone else to do that yet. Even though you are right.

Should get to you by Monday.

If that Versace is real, it's wearable as all get out.
Speaking of which...
Real? Worth selling?

While you're here, how about this one from my closet that I picked up long ago?

Both real, the dot one is sicknasty. The barocco one form your closet may be close to a C note.

I am a poor grad student.  Really, really poor right now because the VA is behind in processing GI Bill claims.  Regardless, I'm in the process of hiring help and hope to have someone placed in the next week.  The problem is during the good seasons I maintain too much inventory and the demands of school are so much greater.  I simply can't process it fast enough alone and still get everything done that I need and while I trust the VA to pay for my schooling, timing is everything.  Health insurance and rent need to get paid.  Ergo, I flip.

The hoarder reference comes up every now and again, and I know I have a problem when I've got cleaned and pressed Kiton shirt only piles waiting to be photographed which I trip over on the way to the bathroom.  Ever have a Brioni sport-jackets avalanche?  Its happened to me.  But the way I see it, even if I pay someone $15 to help for a few hours, I'm "right-sizing" by recouping my capital faster, decreasing my clutter, reducing the chance of getting moths, getting greater turnover, increasing my short-term profit and surviving another month before I need to ask my parents for help (which is really sad, I know).

Last week I walked past  6 pairs of $4.99 NWT Brooks Brothers Chinos because I knew I won't be able to sell them fast enough.  Sure, you may get only $30 on eBay, and some of you won't take those odds, but that is a better profit margin than most businesses even if you have help.  I'd gladly pay someone $15 an hour to help me post those.

Valid points, all.

MAINY - the C&J's you found in your last post are handgrades, dont forget that when listing. Thats the top of the line.

I know I posted this last night, but can anyone tell me if they see anything wrong with it? I'm not sure I will even really wear it, but I just noticed that the label seems off a bit. The seller has a long enough history on eBay and he was selling a few different Hermés ties so I didn't/don't think too much of it. When I get it, I'll be able to post some pics. Any thoughts?

Thanks! We'll see how much use I actually get out of it, assuming it turns out to be legit.

PS, Ive never even looked at Etsy, and I found something I want. Can you make offers, or whatever? I dont want to pay what they are asking :)

There isn't an explicit option, but I've had good luck contacting sellers directly and offering them a fair price for something. In search results, you can see when the item was listed (it was possibly re-listed) and that can help in negotiations.

Ok bros, I know this isn'y entirely appropriate, but this thread get so much more traffic I'll cross post. So a guy responded to a CL ad of mine selling clothes. He needs a suit to go to his boys ceremony for some **** at the pentagon. It sounds like hes some sort of terrorist hunting badass, but he wears a size 52! If any of you guys happen to have ANYTHING or find anything in that size that isn't super fucked up i'd be interested. I just want to get him something basic, and brand isn't really a consideration for him. Thanks

Man, I have to restrain myself from picking up every winter coat I see in my size that is of great quality. Just yesterday, I found a no name, DB, navy, made in England cashmere topcoat that was ******* amazing, but I just have no more space for such items. This is no joke, the rod in my closet that I hang all my jackets and sport coats from, literally came unhinged from the wall the other day from the weight of all that ****. First world problems. @evil, it's still a work in progress, I will be posting pics when it's ready, don't worry.

I'm telling you, steel pipe. It's not just for brawls. Also is great for an industrial-inspired closet. Oak or hickory also works, if you take the time to oil that ****. Steel is cheaper and lower maintenance, unless you are the Capt, and can get an entire luxury closet for pennies and a bit of sweat.

You might also keep leather, shearling and cashmere on old fur hangers. It's irritating when you go in your closet and discover shattered hangers...

Finally caught up on the thread.  Reading quickly, so this may not be accurate, but here is what I learned:

Ian used to be hilariously noobish.
Handershund is all gentlemanly and helps old ladies.
Wes thrifted a two-story garage at some point.

You forgot, DM7 found/pilfered some suits from this guy:

My meager finds for the past week. All available:

Steven Alan for Dockers Cords. Tagged 34x34.
