Picked up this sweet Lebowski type sweater yesterday. No tags anywhere or marks where one would have been, so possibly handmade.

This is made in Mexico in a little town called Chiconcouac, normally from wool or a mix of acrilic and wool, made for tourists mainly

For all you guys that like the eBay sellers who pose in what they're selling, wearing only that item and no shirt or pants, here's a new one for you.

That is one seriously low-hanging

gorge.

p2p: 22
shoulder 19
BOC: 31
leeve 26.5 (from shoulder seam
Waist: 18.25
Inseam: 32.5
Thanks,
O

Sleeves and inseam are a bit long, but otherwise: dead on. Did I win? (I'm sure rocking a linen charcoal pinstripe suit would be a challenge, but I say BRING IT ON!)

Also a huge shoutout to Nataku for an awesome deal on some RLPL flannels that came today. Thanks again man!

Glad you could give them a good home! Enjoy!

Finally found some stuff today! No thanks to thrift stores, no doubt. Been dryer than a bone at all my usual stores. Makes me tried just walking in the door. That's a bad sign.

Couple ties. Sadly the Hermes has some stains (dark, so not easy to see). Oh well. First Hermes find in ages. Also, a nice house-label Bullock & Jones paisley. Swiss made.

Other finds include a gorgeous Loro Piana checkered casual shirt, 2 Borrelli dress shirts (sadly one has t-rex arms I somehow failed to miss), RLPL spread collar white 120s dress shirt, light brown Allen Edmonds suede Melrose loafers (super recent, but 9 1/2 EEE) and a pair of NWT Chippewa green canvas & brown leather snake boots.

Pics to come.

Need advice: take a chance on a NWT Zegna tuxedo at $150? What's something like that likely to fetch on Ebay? It's 42L, SBPL. Stupid thing actually fits me beautifully, but I have no opportunities to wear black tie ever.

Ebay, completed listings. (Sorry BP, you could've probably answered the same in a much more spectacular fashion.)
For the record, the PRL toggle listed above is tagged S, just like the raincoat I picked up... however, it fits me (42) and could possibly fit someone bigger... weird ****. I'd hate to see an XL

Cotton Dockers and Klobber killed it, nice stuff lads.

Here's the crazy thing - my students liked my knit tie but (with a couple of exceptions) had never even heard of such a thing as a knit tie. Really, have we come to this?

I am 25 and had never heard of knit ties until I happened upon SF. I think it's just because of how uncommon ties are in general. The thought of an informal/casual tie is just doesn't make sense to many younger folks.

For all you guys that like the eBay sellers who pose in what they're selling, wearing only that item and no shirt or pants, here's a new one for you.

Augh that's worse than the old lady who poses in lingerie.

As for my own thrifting... I stopped in a Humana shop in Berlin today. Only thing even remotely OK was a Z Zegna suit, for which they wanted 70 Euro.

They were also asking 200 Euro for a Bugatti overcoat. That's like a month's rent in Berlin.

The 2 Brioni shirts I picked up earlier, worth even trying to flip or should I just re-donate? The first one is a very heavy weave and the second one is like a polo shirt weave, very lightweight.

I am just not too sure what I am dealing with here. I'm used to finding dress shirts, but these are just strange to me. I was also not sure if the first one is too ugly even for Ebay.
