It's always nice to find thrifts for Mrs. Ripper. I know it's off-thread (as in classic but no menswear) but a thrift is a thrift and a brag is a brag, no?

RL Collection, Made in Italy. Needs a button lol.

Neat details, an integrated throat latch (hidden in photo, alas), a rear yoke, belt, box pleat, darts, and elbow patches. In a really bitchin alpaca and lambswool twill. Very close to being a safari jacket but in completely the wrong fabric, so a horsey jacket I guess...

Hi. Back from Los Angeles trip. I see I missed the Charvet haul of the year.

Went to Wilkes Bashford in San Francisco the other day..... what a lovely place.

Bro, so the globe we've thrifted last week has been tentatively dated by my wife to be from the 1950's. Not bad for $6. Bro, check yours. @troika

Thats the worst. Luckily for me, all the winter coats and jackets are just starting to come out.

Can i get a legit check on this Buzz Rickson coat.
I'm not sure why Buzz Rickson would be counterfeited, but in my limited searches through google & ebay, i haven't come across this tag before.

"Buzz Rickson's" Generally have quality that oozess from every stitch. as in it would be the first thing you grab from the closet when the apocolypse begins. i'm not getting that from this piece. a pic of the washing instructions tag would go far here, but i can tell from the slanted size tag that it's not up to their standards. and unless that thing is Waxed, triple stitched, and features military grade hardware?? it's a fake. -More deetz? i would like it to be a B.R piece i've never seen before.

it's easy to date globes on the sizes of countries borders, number of states, size of U.S.S.R,territories of great britain, and countries names. you could probably narrow it down to a year if your geopolitical knowledge is up to scratch. wait, don't you know a international relations/........... major??????

That is a cool find though. the fact the you bought a globe for yourself, because you liked it? Awesome.

I have shipped to an ambassador, his deputy ambassador, two congressmen, at least one pro athlete, an US Army general, and one of Obama's financial analysts. These are just the people who's names or addresses were interesting enough to attract my attention. I have shipped to $5 million dollar homes in Bel Air as well as $7 million dollar penthouses in Manhattan. Regardless of someone's wealth or fame, everyone loves a bargain.

Really shocked at the quality of this cremieux ltd. edition seven fold
I recently picked one up as well, my first 7 fold tie I've found, and I must agree. Awesome weight and construction. Mine is blue with some white polka dots!
