Into town to see the Grand Final yesterday (our version of the Super Bowl). I had a bit of time to spare, and found a couple of ties: Charvet and Brioni. There was a Zegna Su Misura 15milmil15 suit in the same shop, but it had yellow staining in the pants. I know some people use bleach on this; does that only work on minor stains, or can it be used when it's quite bad?

Finally, I retrieved these in my parent's house. I originally found them 10 years ago when I had a summer job in a waste sorting facility. Take that y'all bins thrifters, I get stuff straight from the trash! ?

Recent finds...

Nothing available at the moment.

No special brands here, but the back is a bespoke cashmere (women) and front is just a nice heavy wool in great condition.

Barbour trench and older Schneiders cashmere coat. Not the best condition, but nice detachable fur collar and the price was right.

Harris Tweed on the left and the right is not special but plush baby camelhair.

Mandarina Duck bag that was cheap enough to buy to carry things home.

I don't think these have been removed from their case since the '80s. I don't think I've ever found one of these cases that wasn't completely disintegrating. I've literally seen 100+ and all of them were shot, so I assume it has to do with the material.

These are a size too big for me, but I'm keeping them to wear around the house. They're incredibly soft. If anyone is going to be in Quebec in the near future, please let me know for proxy!

My first thought, I was going to ask about these since my son is a freshman at Alabama.

Decided to ditch the thrift and enjoy some outside time in the rain and get some dinner.
