Not sure I've ever posted this, but here is an example of pegged sole construction. Not often seen outside of Central Europe, though I'm sure there are other areas that do it. Those are rows of wooden pegs rather than stitching:

I posted the huge leather pieces I grabbed last week. I went back and cherry-picked a few more. These are smaller but nice colors:
Made for a local store on the left, Moschino on the right.

Carrera and Oakley Frogskins:
Top belt is a bit worn, so I'll cut it to length and use it myself. I don't know whether I have burgundy.
I always keep an eye out for Hermès ashtrays. While it's not Hermès, searching paid off:
