Cheapies is almost closed! I’d put that Versace silk in there for sure, maybe just the whole haul

I thought that too but you know what for me it's between the LL leather from couple of days ago or those glass Margielas.
To me that's more impressive then finding 20 kiton sport coats (evenv though that waswamazing asawell) because that could happen again.but those two items have that rare combo of monetary value ,name and just the crazy rarity and chance of it happening again being nil.
I'm still torn between the leather because it's nee AND who it was made for.on the other hand those MMM slippers are in box and it's a SET even though they were sold separately .
Tough choice man.
The Versace jacket someone could find again .
So thats my criteria anyway.

The other thrifters are swarming about my regular spots... so Im not finding Zegna Trofeos like last week anymore. Stll, I could see them eyeing this nice John Comfort tie I nabbed after someone put it behind the other ties hoping to get it at half off of $3.50, I paid up. Is it late 60's early 70's or more recent (just a hair over 3 inches wide)?. I also, picked up this sweet half canvassed early Brooksgate with no size tags for a friend but it was still too big so it went back. What's more, I forged a "to do list" letter from Richard Nixon who liked the Brooksgate line and put it in the pocket for my friend to find when he tried it on. He kept the fake letter.

Anyone familiar with the brand? Quality is there and they were dumb cheap so I took a shot that they were maybe some small boutique brand.

Not Edward Green (which would, amongst other things, be an oval cut into the lining to display the sizing etc on a piece of leather behind - not a medallion attached to the lining leather itself).

I suspect small-maker bespoke. They look of good quality, and that writing doesn't naturally decipher out to sizing (e.g. where is the width?). So just as likely it's details of the order.

I like to watch my favorite holiday films repeatedly throughout the month of December. It also means I get to subject my family to my favorite quotes. I like to work in “you couldn’t hear a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant” and “is your house on fire, Clark?” as often as I can.

In fact, earlier today I was able to reply to my wife with “Say brainless, don’t you know where coconuts come from?” This is not to mention that I like to shout “hot dog!” after anything positive that happens from mid-November through December.

Anyway, I have a thread for holiday film clothes from last year that I’ve tried to keep updated. If you’re interested in reflecting on some of the wardrobe choices or have anything to add, feel free to take a look.

Thought this was a pretty cool Mashup of vintage and new. Early 1960s Eagle Clothes sharkskin mohair suit, black Charles Tyrwhitt shirt, Ferragamo shoes and the aforementioned Prada tie.

Although I feel I should be randomly spraying people with perfume as they enter the front door. Lol!

Still looking for a skinny black 32" Don Draper belt to fit through the narrow loops.
