you say barocco I say borocco
you say Morocco I say marocco .

marocco ! barocco ! let's call the whole thing off
Can't, no refunds!

This antique wardrobe (?) was at the same place as the Stickley, apparently these were donated after failing to move at an Estate sale. Looked flippable but I am not set up for this big stuff.

I picked up these Soho snakeskin loafers, size 41. I have not seen this brand before. Due to the size of the foot opening I suspect they may be women's. Your opinion?

Also, what type of snake is it from?

Python, backcut on the vamp. Yes, women's. Not high on resale, but awesome for someone you know that they fit . . .

Have been flat out getting renters into my flipper houses while the selling market is sluggish, but have stopped in occasionally around town, and glad I did . . .

Two pairs of Drake's "Clifford" desert boots, stone mint.

Been a little while since I posted anything. The end of tax year deluge never came, but there’s been some good stuff along the way.

Cliff house and baby beach. $1.20 for all three.

I had to bide my time on this for 75% off day. I think I was aided by a couple of stains that I managed to get out. This is crazy nice. Super crunchy 100% tussah silk with high sheen, big mop buttons. Still carried by rlpl at $1100.

Not a ton going on up here. Winters are pretty quiet in the Canadian snowbelt.

I've read the last few pages, and I've had some really bad experiences on eBay in the last year. Way more than ever. I collect Inuit carvings and you should see how people package them: thrown in a flat-rate mailer with some newspaper. Someone sent me a reverse-painted glass sign in one of the 14 x 12 x 3 boxes with a single sheet of bubble wrap. Arrived in shards. If I were a Gen Z or A buyer I'd say **** this 'site.

I re-wired this swag lamp and added a wireless LED bulb. If anyone likes neon-style lighting, you can get wifi bulbs that let you choose any colour/warmth you want. It makes a big difference with certain pieces.

I find a lot of these teak floor lamps.

Grapes swag lamp.

I really like this creepy baker, and I think the piece has some value. It's circa. WWI. I've had it framed:

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
