I think these are the last furniture restoration pieces of the year. I picked up a really nice Arne Hovmand executive desk, but that'll need to wait 'til next spring.

After complaining about stuff not selling, a bunch of things sold. Which was nice. Got a bunch of "I want this but it would need to be delivered to Toronto" messages, too.

I had salvaged the base of a dining table a couple of years ago. I held onto it thinking I'd be able to frankenstein something down the road. I found this very heavy round top without the slice down the middle for a leaf. Originally it was for a coffee table. I took everything apart, did a bunch of work on it, and the finished product is below.

This is the top part of the credenza. I turned it into a book-case by adding legs so I could sell it separately. It sold in 10 minutes.

I am a newcomer to SF and love this thread. Going to thrift stores, car boot sales etc. is massively fun, but living where I do, in a not-very affluent part of Denmark, I can only dream of finds such as the ones you show here.

Well, until today.

All from the same Red Cross thrift store in Holstebro (@RFHansen will no doubt agree with me that this is completely out of character for the region), I assume that a local business magnate has passed. Corduroy jacket is Zegna for Neiman Marcus, the Cuseri's are in Bozzalla & Lesna Super 100 and NWT, the next three are all Zegna (black trousers are NWT) and then checked flannels are Canali. There's even a pair of Levi's 501 in good shape. PPU is ~ $10.

The jacket is size 58 all trousers are 38" width.

The no. 1 find, however, were these:

Vintage glass Christmas tree ornaments that my GF and I really love - not that common to find (first time I've found them thrifting) and usually 3x as costly.

Thanks for all the good advice here!
