Half the teenage girls here wear oversized multi-pocket '90s skater jeans with tool straps. I feel old. Now I understand what my parents went through having to witness all my questionable adolescent style decisions.

did you leave some ties behind? did you plead your case for a bulk discount? that's what i was gonna do but didn't have the energy.
I did end up taking them all, regardless of condition. As many are likely familiar with, some of the woven silk Charvet Ties were starting to come apart at the ends, but I think there's still some "meat-on-the-bone," so to speak. I'm trying to figure out which ones I want to keep; I haven't worn a tie in 4 years or so, but I keep a few that I like just for the novelty.

I didn't ask for a bulk discount, haha. Making the cashier scan 50 ties made me feel a bit sheepish.

only a matter of time purp, but everyone else wants them too so you're gonna have to work on your in-store steely gaze and general aura of unfuckwithability. Focus your british dad powers and you'll have those hypebeasts apologizing for so much as brushing your personal space.
Speaking of sweaters that everybody wants, this piece wasn't thrifted but I picked it up online maybe 3 hours after listing, doubt it would have lasted 4.

coogi's have been a thing since Biggie, but in recent years it seems like the brand has risen dramatically in the cultural consciousness. I can only remember seeing one over my thrifting career, priced up and pretty roached at a boutiquey california store.

and coogs are not typically not my style, but this one is wild and fits just right
IMG_7128.jpeg

organic, seemingly random 3D knit that looks almost alive in a muted blue palette shot through with veins and pools of vibrant color
IMG_7127.jpeg

the previous owner made the questionable decision to chop off the bottom hem but frankly it works for me both fitwise and with the general aesthetic

the word 'biomorphic' keeps occurring to me. one of the most uniquely beautiful garments I've ever handled.

in the Permanent Collection for sure.

and a quick indigo palette cleanser after the Coogi overload-

some of my favorite things to find have no tags or attributions but simply have a certain quality that evinces rightness. to whit, this dyed and likely handwoven indigo scarf

maybe mudcloth or a similar indigenous textile but slap a rrl label on there and the retail at the Ralph Mansion would be like $795 plus tax. another for the PC.

got shoes, clothes, and art to post, but I'm gonna gird myself for a Thursday am run and tear up some fresh racks first. Good luck out there my friends.
