They are! The only thing that would make them better is if the had the Horween stamp. But I’m not complaining at $12. ☺️

Do you mean the inside or outside one. I know because I just picked up a pair of these last night!

Visited the in laws on San Luis Obispo. Had time to hit some spots.

Mykita Nigel stainless steel German eyeglasses for $1. Retail is close to $600. My wife needs her first prescription pair ... I think she's taking these.

Coach MIUSA belt - $3

Cambridge Soundworks Ambiance 2 internet/ipod touch screen radio - $5. Works, but my old Cambridge Soundworks model 88 blows the doors off it sound wise. Fun to play with anyway.

That's my favorite Mykita frame, discontinued too. If she doesn't want them, holla! I had the silver pair first and lost them in Florida.

Anyone around Kansas City? Looks like I will be in town for a business trip late summer. Curious about any thrifts for something different than I am used to.

good taste my man!

the good news is she decided to go for the Lindberg Spirit Titanium frames i got a few years ago. the bad news... i think i'll make the Mykita my next frames :)

i've been on a vintage horn rim kick since the pandemic. i think some snobby "architect glasses" are in order. ;-)

my optometrist hates me. she carries tom ford, gucci, cartier, etc... and i'm always like - here's my $2 thrift store frames, i'll take the cheapest lenses with a $20 copay. haha!

BTW, unless something has changed, DO NOT buy Tom Ford new. such craptastic quality!

i've tried more expensive lenses, the coatings always flake off. especially if there's a whiff of salt spray near the ocean.

i'll have to spring for thinner lenses for the Mykita though. i'm blind as a bat.

@Letric thought you might like to see in the internal weave. I have no idea what this is called when the outer and inner are different weaves. I love it and currently in the wash for the stables.

3x Lulu 32x32 if anyone wants?

Olivers Merino Wool hoodie. A new brand to me, but made in Cali and so nice. Perfect for those cooler summer evenings.
