@impuntura I have the same issue with a couple hoodies right now - stuck on / heat pressed rubbery logos.

As is right now they're perfectly fine.. If i hit em with steam and try peeling yeah they may come off, but what will they leave behind? On this particular fabric probably a glue residue that won't come off and will be sticky and attract lint.. Whereas if I just leave em alone and move out, yeah they wont get quite as much value as non logo items but better than it being messed up. Luckily for my case the logos are really minimal black lines.

For that Atom LT it sucks but that's why we find these corporate logo items. I'd leave it as is.
I think hoodies should be fine ,the heat method won't damage the fabric.
This jacket is either nylon or poly so i want to avoid heat as not to melt it.

Boys how do I get this heat logo off this otherwise minty Atom Lt jacket.
I feel like it was previously discussed with some kind of method .

i've dealt with the sewn on kind with no adhesive on knits , just use a seam ripper and work from the back .

i've had dry cleaners do a good job of removing adhesive residue in the past , caveat emptor but your local may have a solvent or something to hit it with

Question for you that pick up ties. What is your threshold for damage and wear for higher end ties? Do you have a price threshold for such items as well?

What is your experience on what will and won’t sell?

I bought the below purely for this experiment and knowing full well this could be 2 bucks down the drain.

If they're immaculate and great patterns only.

Easy to list, easy to store and takes no time to package up.

Like these two I picked up the other day.

I can’t remember the last time I picked up a tie. Prices are going up on ties too, which is odd. I scanned the tie rack today for the first time in several years. Saw some really cool 40’s-50’s ties in very nice shape. Unfortunately they’re marked at $6-$7 each. In the current market, it would have to be a home run for me to buy it (Quindici, Talbott Seven Fold in a nice pattern, Hermes, etc).

Here’s some random stuff from the other day. A buddy who collected Rolex watches for years saw the one I found and said it’s a fake. Oh well. For $3, it was worth a roll of the dice.

Not sure if these are worth anything or not. Possibly real ivory. Each has a broken tusk, but still cool.
