On that subject. Does it seem that bigger sizes sell quicker? Because america
Law of averages. You're more likely to sell the most common sizes for North America/Europe since they're either tall or big. Most common height for a man is 5 foot 9 so that would be:

40-42R? Maybe 40-42L?
32-34 waist with 30-32 inseam
Maybe size 10 feet

Smaller sizes go to Asia (Japan most likely).

If you review your local stores, you'll see sizes that most donated to which will help you calculate the average size for that area.

I do realize that inventory rotates between stores so take this with a grain of salt*

*This is not financial advice.

In my area it seems like no one under a size 38 waist wears suits or trousers at all because I almost never find any small enough to fit me and I’m a 31-32” waist and 38-40 jacket.

Not sure about tailored stuff, it's been awhile since I've sold many suits.

But for 'off the rack' sized casual stuff I love XL, XXL and even XXXL. They always seem to sell pretty fast and for top dollar. Peendletin shirts especially. Just had this one go in under 24 hrs:

The way I see it - If you're a hard to find size you're probably not going to even try shopping around stores or look on websites that don't carry your size.. But on secondhand resale websites there's all kinds of different sized clothing. I find myself doing this for shoes mostly, as I wear a larger 13 - 14 E.

need a legit check on this Thom Browne hoodie. leaning fake based on tags, but lots of details are there, including riri zippers with thom browne logo on them, but neck tag has a made in usa tag, but care tag has made in japan. the care tag looks wonky to me, but i have not handled a lot of his stuff besides ties, so will appreciate any thoughts on legitimacy of it.

Good question. Yes, bigger sizes sell quicker. For my own sales, "average" sizes are 42-46 (for some Gen Y/Z thread denizens, they may run smaller), 48-50 are rarer, and 52+ rarer still.

I always love it when I get "big guy" stuff because it always sells super fast and for top dollar (relatively). Those guys don't get a lot of options, so they're super grateful that we find and list them. Those items pretty much always go for asking, even if I have added a BO.

I am always happy when I find big guy stuff. CM in the mid-range moves consistently but slowly, while the opposite end (34-36) is super slow. So yes, Murca . . . Always "growth" . . .

One quick tip: I've seen a lot of CM where the buyer will take a suit many sizes bigger to accommodate broad shoulders (especially common amongst gym rats and athletes), then tailor it to within an inch of its life to accommodate an otherwise trim torso and legs. Won't come close to fitting a regular person of "factory label size". Those are tough to unload, but sometimes we get lucky. Almost impossible to call that out at the kop, tho . . . As always, YMMV.

Yes the bigger, usually the better (TWSS) but I've found really small stuff does equally well. Size 34-36 usually flies off the shelf for me.

Hello, new here. Does anyone recognize these leather pants? And can anyone tell me if these are worth anything? No labels unfortunately. RiRi zip and buttons (are these wooden buttons?) are what caught my eye

Nothing on the pocket bags / lining? Let's see a pic of the inside, sometimes construction details can narrow down a manufacturer. The riri zipper is intriguing and leather quality looks great so I would've bought them as well.
