i mean the idea is to buy things that are worth more in some way than we spent

Are you trashing normies again?

And of course, if you like something it has value.

Thats what I don’t understand about fashion. If you find your style and you like it. As long as you are appropriately dressed why does it matter what others wear? Especially if it is a trend that many will abandon in time? Why not keep and wear what you like?
I didn't want to look like everyone else and I only had so much space in my closet, know what I'm saying? Also, peoples tastes change. I've gone through many different iterations of my personal style. It's not something static, its always changing. There are pieces I'll never get rid of, of course, but staying in one lane is boring in my opinion. Variety is the spice of life, so they say.

Catch and release today, found a couple of cherry early 90's ish looking Roadmaster mountain bikes, too bad that the frames were just awful looking despite the made in USA pedigree. Also left the Spalding ATB behind, had a halfway decent looking lugged frame at least but not much else going for it.

More catch and release, Scottish hardwood buffet, solid build yet lightweight. Finish and grain was beautifully done and well preserved

I don't know much about furniture but if a guy had the space and could use it for something, $90 would have to be a real bargain. Or a flip? IDK...

Yeah that makes sense. I guess I am getting to a point where I am changing less in big ways, but definitely have changed a lot since say high school. Who knows I may have a big change or two in the future.
