Hahaha I actually hadn’t heard that and I stay pretty up to date with fantasy book stuff. But yeah I love KKC, but hate that it might not get finished. I will definitely read whatever is coming out next. I really enjoyed the novella too.

Does one pick it up at thrift price still?

Not sure if your kidding or not. The only kiton I have left behind is badly damaged or an obvious orphan.
As far as I know most are 3 roll 2.
If you can't easily sell it I would be happy to trade for it.

Found a couple oddball things this morning. Took a shot in the dark and paid $20 for the sax. Music folks: how’d I do? I figure works case is it’s a cool decorative wall hanger.

Found 9 Purple Label shirts and 9 Purple Label ties at an estate sale!! Had to leave the Purple Label suits and cashmere sport coats and tuxedo (size 56) and left 3 or 4 of the “bolder” Purple Label ties. Evidently this gentleman - who is downsizing - was a General in the Army.

Went to Philly yesterday, no time to thrift but did wear that vintage Pendleton Bolo shirt I picked up last week.

Could feed 3 families back in England with this cheese steak.

Just loud pieces really... pink ties... bright orange tie with blue paisleys.... but all Purple Label. Perhaps I should have picked up everything and tried reselling on eBay. How does Purple Label do on eBay?

Hmmmm . . . great business model, right? Take a shirt that could sell on eBay for $79, spend $$$$ on high-end dyes, expend an immense amount of effort applying the tie-dye process, wash and dry the shirt multiple times and then sell it for $28? Completely bonkers.

Makes no sense. There's a few nice shirts that he's butchered (Charvet, Isaia etc)
