I remember I had one of those at one point too - The Fridtjof Nansen label.

Semi related but has anyone noticed a lack of Dale of Norway sweaters out in the field lately? The stores around here finally caught onto them and I see maybe 1 or 2 per year now, as opposed to in the past I'd get 6-10 per year.

I got mine at a Buffalo. Rarely do I ever see them in the fields of Texas.

Bought these for the price of half a scarf. All in good condition. If you cannot tell by the print, they are all Drake’s. Top one is 70/28/2 cotton modal cashmere the two in the middle are 70/30 wool silk and the bottom is 100 wool.

I just got back from a thrifting spree with tons of loot. I love shopping much more than I like selling, so who here (besides LuxeSwap, who I use and who is amazing—I just want to diversify) accepts consignments?
Well, of course you do. I'd pretty much bet that everyone on here prefers the dopamine rush of the hunt to the endless drudgery that follows, lol . . . As a result, most of the other thread bros who take consignments aren't taking any at the moment, as far as I am aware. I have tried to offload some of my backlog, but haven't found any takers. However, this being the thread it is, no doubt someone will come piling in and prove me wrong, wrong, wrong . . . And that will give you the information you need . . .

Meanwhile, I had to go down to Phx yesterday to take someone to the airport and managed three quick stops on the way back. Glad I did. Nothing available at the moment.

First up, new with partial tags Cannoli reversible coat, current label, greenish wool plaid on one side, black polyester weatherproof on the other.

More Cannoli, current label. Haven' seen them do this cuff style before . . . Half price day too . . .

The last item from yesterday's haul, and on half-price day too, so five bucks and change. Any of you experts help with a legit check? At that price I don't really care either way, as it will either flip for $$$$ or someone will get to enjoy it as a gift. I know some of you have this pretty well down as regards the distinguishing details, so any help much appreciated. The only thing that gives me pause is the mis-spelling: "ribinng", but in my experience, spelling errors are not uncommon, even on legit garments. What say you, experts?

I saw a lot of fake Moncler in Chicago, that one has two things that stick out to me. 1. The cartoon’s fabric should have rounded corners 2. the patch should have more defined points on the head and the letters should be set on a consistent curve.

^ Also there are mis-spellings of words, and gaps between letters on the tags.. somewhat common on foreign counterfeits.

"TRICHL OROETHYLENE" "LINNING" and "RIBINNG" stand out to me.
