Weird thing is that even on sold Ruehl is getting decent prices for outerwear. Most jackets and the heavy hoody is like triple figures. That $600/700 is definitely inflated but still solid numbers if you buy at thrift prices.

Estate sale.

Mother of pearl buttons. These must have sold new for a pretty penny. I think I will be keeping these.
Then I thrift ed these two.

Rarely see much of this kind of stuff so for $15 a piece I could not leave them. Never know when we will want to use them, or my daughters.
Also, one other estate sale find, for personal, its a loro piana cotton and cashmere robe. Cleaning it up a bit then will try to get some pics. Was on my shortlist of things I still wanted to find.
The estate sale was unbelievable. Forty plus Hermes scarves, a lucien pissarro original painting, unfortunately not all that much for me to buy but the pajamas and the robe. As usual, tons of women's clothing but very little mens. They had an older Brioni cashmere sport coat but for $380, even at half price today, too much. Fun to see the house though. Lots of security and you had to put down your name and wait for a call to see the special jewelry room. I gave up after 30 minutes.

Also, bamboozled myself this weekend. Saw this at our consignment store for $30. Bought it instantly without thinking:

Realized when I got home it was an aftershave 🤦‍♂️

Oh well, at least it smells good and still seems to be a decent price after looking at solds on ebay

I find good vinyl in the true thrift once every year it seems. Must have been a year. I think every one of these is a first pressing.

Aint heard of a bunch of these, but early Floyd is cash, Pere Ubu owns, the best Sparks album, and the only non-racist Skrewdriver??? in a thrift store??? great post.
