El Degas were rebranded Ibanez guitars in Canada
I think they just were made in the same factory from what I can find. Doesn’t necessarily change the value either way tbh unless El Degas has more name recognition in Canada than it does down here. It’s amazing how much a different water slide decal can change the price of something when it comes to guitars. Like the lawsuit era Ibanez Les Pauls are always going to be cheaper than Gibson Les Pauls from the same era even though they were virtually mirror copies and arguably more well-made guitars for a minute.
copies can be amazing ! my amp is a kit-built deluxe reverb and really kicks the hell out of the typical fender dr
Lol that guitar has some kind of identity crisis:
Named "El Degas" 🇲🇽🇪🇸
Has a little union jack flag on the top🇬🇧
Has Al Capone written down by the strings🇮🇹
Made in Japan🇯🇵
I've not seen vtg Florsheim Imperials soles like this before. Don't they usually have the wood grain print/ v-cleat on them?
