That was before Mongoose sold their soul to Wal-Mart. Mongoose used to make awesome BMX bikes. Now, with the Wal-Goose era, their reputation has been irrevocably damaged.

I came really close to getting that purple Rockadile, but ended up with a Specialized Rockhopper Comp instead.

The Rockadile was rigid. The front suspension on that Rockhopper was a game changer. Here’s a pic I found online.

His and hers Voormi jackets (both NWT), from FB Marketplace. One for my wife, and one to flip). Funny story: my wife was wearing my Voormi jacket at the zoo yesterday, and mentioned that if I found one of them in her size, she’d like one. Purchase price was roughly 1/3 of retail.

My brother up in northern Ontario (which makes him unclejeans, I guess?) picked up an auction lot of 70s and 80s rock lps. There was a nice surprise in one of them. Ppu around $12.
