Five thrifts this morning and this was the only pickup, better than nada.

Never heard of Kansai Yamamoto, gave him a google and decided to gamble at £2 a pop, anyone had any experience with anything by him?

Kansai Yamamoto made some amazing outfits for David Bowie back in the 70's

@patelsd how big are the swatches? How many are in each booklet? I’d love them for a craft project if you don’t end up flipping them.

Loro books have about 20-30 samples in each and they’re 6” x 8”

VBC Books have about 40-50 samples, 5.5 x 6.5”

I had about 100 of those books when I worked for a tailor. Turned all the Loro Piana squares into a patchwork blanket. I don't think they're really worth anything though.

I thought they’d be great for coffee table books but my wife informed me I was wrong.

In 15 years I've found 3 Alden, 1 was for BB.

I've come across multiple collections from women, but rarely see a full collection from men. I happened to come in when a banana box full of '80s and '90s mens fragrances were being unloaded. I cherry picked these and I'm more than happy with what I got. Varying levels from 40ml to unopened.

In love with the vetiver:

The Escada pour Homme goes for a ton, but it's got a solid 50-60ml in it. I really like it. Wish the Nobile were a full bottle. Tsar is a full splash bottle.

Eucris is unopened and I've never sampled it:
