I walked uphill both ways in the snow to find these. Quick label pron. Inco x2, Bri pents, EZ suit, cash sc, some other stuff.

Posting this separate, because I've seen this meme several times, and I though it applied to my visits to this one particular store.

It's a GW in a so-so neighborhood, generally finding nothing worth my while, but it's where I've found the Berluti Scritto bag, and a Ferragamo briefcase. So, like this pup, there was this one time, so I have to keep checking. One decent item this time.

The one on the right is a Mr Porter collab, one on left has no tags but can’t imagine why’d they’d have a legit Mr P collab and a fake?! Anyhoo they might fit need to run through the wash first to see

Small haul, but apparently today was Cashmere day for me.

Vintage topcoat (looks like 70s based on union tag), and, I’ll just euphemistically say “vintage” sports coat.

Neither really knocks the ball out of the park, but both should sell, and, cashmere in excellent shape. Kinda wish the top coat would fit me, but alas too small

And now I wonder if one of those cashmeres yesterday was actually a whiff. Can I request a reality check?
Faking an unvented Zegna seems unlikely to me, but maybe once upon a time it seemed like a good idea. I’ve never seen a Zegna jacket without some kind of tag, but when I went looking for the size, etc this morning, this is all I can find. No evidence of anything being torn out either. So I submit a few photos for your critique. (I did also find a small baggy with a fabric scrap and spare buttons. Not sure what that indicates.)

Legit, the older zegna also had those interior tags, I’ve seen them together with the usually old zegna tag or just by itself like yours

Thanks, I've seen plenty of the older Zegna tags, but never just this. I appreciate the confirmation.

1000w Sous Vide cooker for $5. My quest for perfectly cooked steaks is back on. Now all I need is one of those vacuum sealer gadgets

A pair of "rare" (according to da innanetz) Realistic Minimus 50 speakers from 1983 in desperate need of refoaming. Correct me if I'm wrong but 90 bucks each or $180 pair seems like it was a lot of money back in 1982. I think my allowance was $5 every other week back then

it has been real dry for months now. The bins are packed with people, a couple dozen hype kids watching youtube videos and instagram trying to outdo each other on who found the most "fire". They all look the same, Carhartt pants and jackets, some vintage tshirt underneath, vape pen in mouth. I have turned into a crotchety old man overnight.
Have been able to grab a few things lately though.

The envy of the hype kids was strong, actually had one kid offer me $15 for this. I told him I was going to make a pillow cover out of it.

need some advice. got this Schott shearling at bins this weekend, looks like a soda or something was spilled on it. Any suggestions on cleaning it? want to try myself before sending it out to be done.

I've been keeping my eyes open for a shearling coat or as New Yorkers call them "sheep dogs" for the past 2 years but have only found acrylic lookalikes Nice score. My size too.

sad.
