No stand ,BUT I've had this Herman Miller base that I've been holding on to for about five years now and it's a perfect fit.

That should work fine for your purposes. The matching base is designed more for convenient storage and rapid setup, which won’t be an issue in using it as a lamp.

I’m sure it’s also dependent on location as always too but they have been letting people in one at a time in a single file socially distanced line, and they are only putting items out right before the store opens. Obviously nothing has changed where it’s first come first serve and you have to get to those items, but the “best” stuff usually get snatched up right when the store opens. People are running in like it’s Black Friday every day when they get in there now lol.

Always love to find a pair of vintage custom work boots, as they always seem to flip well. These will clean up very nicely. Couple questions for the experts: first, anyone recognize the writing inside to help identify the maker? There are no other markings on these, unfortunately, just Vibram branding on the sole and heel. The lettering inside simply says 10 D 6 01. Second question: what's with the metal insert on the medial edge? I assume that both that and the vamp reinforcement are designed for the specific function of these boots, but Googling has not helped thus far. I'm guessing lineman, logger, something else. Anyone know for sure? And what those features are called? If anyone will know, one or more of you will. I don't think it goes as far as a double vamp, since it's just a strap, but an interesting pair for sure.
