Got up this morning and decided to sand and oil my MCM finds of the last week. Pics are **** because I've resisted buying any Apple products. I think I'm gonna write about this later, but since courts went virtual in March I've been able to do two jobs at once. It's been a lot of fun. (I didn't get these at thrift stores. I don't know if Hans and Florent picked up those hauls at thrifts, but I've realized that Canadian thrifts don't make sense for me anymore.)

Tough to follow that gorgeous footwear post from @florent, but life goes on.

In this case with another run to Phx to pick up auction furniture, and time for just two stops on the way home: one consignment, one thrift.

Happy to see these John Lobb 2008 St. Crispin's Special Edition shoes seriously mispriced. 7000 last. Instakop. These were based on the John Lobb City II silhouette, but with that thick double stitching. Gorgeous shoes, but dammit, my size, so I have a decision to make about whether to forsake the hefty margin on these. If I was going to wear black lacing shoes (not my normal thing), these would be right in my wheelhouse. Classically formal, but with a twist.

And at thrift, a pair of almost-new Ballys and those darned J&M Cellini croc or pseudo croc. Anyone know which? I always kop as they always sell, but I'd sure like to figure it out.

Plenty more 'Bay fodder also kopped, but not worth posting here . . .

Linen jacket on the left is not as saturated as the photo implies, but it's from a well-known store. I always wonder what that tag is when I see it. It's not made in Italy, but I keep thinking it looks like a known-maker that has a factory somewhere in eastern Europe. Familiar to anyone?

I suggest this maker from Lisbon.

Part 2! My space is definitely getting better and more what I want vs. what I needed. Also felt great purging so much garbage and clutter!

love thrift finding, and thrift funding these pieces! Mid Century madness; finally adulting.
Stay safe fam

Looks good Flippy, but I would get some chrome legs from Ikea for that receiver cabinet.
Those aren't original I don't think and look way too thick
Also the chrome will match the pioneer .
Good call my dude. I’ll check them out this week! I’m just looking for a decent floor lamp now and should be Gucci

feel free to send some pieces my way <3
