Speaking of keeping suits for ourselves I had a decent day last week.


The purple label doesn't fit but the Poole is bespoke and the jacket fits me great. I'll have to take the matching pants in if I want to wear the set tho.

@impuntura That thing looks like it was made for you. I would add to the others here saying that I would keep something like that. I thrifted a full cashmere Cucinelli overcoat that I had thoughts about selling. I changed my mind because I don’t think I’ll find something of that caliber for that price ever again in my size.

I know a lot of people treat thrifting like mercenary selling though where they try not to get emotionally attached to any pieces and it’s all about profits.

I generally keep everything that's Canada Goose,euro douche my size.
I love this jacket but knowing myself I will inevitably get some kind of sauce (garlic,mayo,mustard take your pick ) on it and its gonna break my heart.
I'm gonna post it for a hefty sum and if she goes she goes.
That's just the way she goes sometimes.

1. Love the pocket flap on the RLPL. 2. I think that's the first time I've seen a seersucker suit from a Savile Row tailor. amazing finds!

Yesterday i saw them wheeling a rack of jewelry to be put out in the morning and I noticed a pocketwatch hanging off the hook.
Line up at 715 this morning to be first in line and there it was for 12.99.
Tested positive for solid 10K gold, the whole thing is 120 grams I think around 45-50 will be Gold.

Just to add,did someone just buy the watch that you linked because mine has 49 grams so if that one is more or less the same (I think even more because it's a hunter case ) there is about 50 to 60 grans of 14k gold so thats double what the warch sold for just in scrap.

Management at the Goodwills around me would never let any of that stuff out. They don't even like to let out pairs of Lululemon leggings for under $15.

I got 3 pairs from GW for 3.49 each.

Sadly very true. I feel like all my buys are from slip ups or when the ppl tagging get lazy because the manager isn’t there. My gw definitely sends every high quality art or photo book directly online because my area used to be great for that and I haven’t seen a single one for over 2 years now. Same goes for the entire jewelry and watches category.
