I made the list!!!so I had some time during the initial lockdown to reflect on, if the thrifts ever opened up again, and I could thrift with 5 people on here, who would it be. sort of like the ultimate dinner party challenge. I am listing my five in no particular order.
@330CK straight up furniture Appreciation. I don't know much about furniture other than seeing it and thinking, that is the nuts. pretty much every post he makes, that is my reaction.
@SpooPoker because everyone deserves to feel like royalty at some point in there life. to be able to potentially handle grails daily blows my mind, the sheer volume of awesomeness would probably make me join a Tibetan monastery and forsake all worldly goods, knowing I never would experience it IRL
@kbadgley84 the perfect day would consist of hitting the bins that are the exact opposite of my bins. while mine faithfully churn out vintage woolens and workwear, the best CM I can remember is a not so dated Canali in an ok pattern. the fire that he pulls from bins is insane. to finish day would be a cooking extravaganza.
@impuntura I found a casio once. I want to find watches, or learn how to roll rich guys. however he gets them. and furniture too.
@Nataku dirty, grimy, stinky workwear? Hell yeah! vintage audio equipment? my first real job was repairing audio and video equipment back in the 80's.
honorable mention is pretty much everyone else on thread, going to highlight a few here.
@SteelGuy made a lifelong friend from this thread, and we go out thrifting together pretty regularly.
@flipstah we are basically the same size person, except i'm a bit thicker (TWSS) so anything too tight on me would fit him, and anything too big on him would fit me.
@eazye to learn style. to learn how to own a style. to learn how to adapt a style.
@HansderHund just to answer the question, Is it REALLY not available?
@Thrift Vader i really want to go to japan.
@Coldsnap Squats!!!!
Actually, we had steak and wine first, then just picked grails up off the street afterwards.Thrifting with me - ask anyone who has - is less of a grail adventure than you think, and more of a yeah lets get this Brioni in the bag so we can go have steak and wine
I had this bike except in the orange color-way. So many good times.Not sure if I posted my other C’dale I got at true thrift last week. They’ve had some awesome attempts at thinking more outside the box than most other manufacturers. Definitely Ronald McDonnnald’s racing team colors. Clothing is still mainly non-existent or trickling out very slowly so I’m focusing on other areas for now.
@Nataku you’re on deck, post up your newest vintage audio pornnnography.

There's been a bunch of memes of that couple being posted in this thread over the last couple days, so its def relevant. hahato make it relevant to the thread, I can tell you that her shirt was thrifted... yesterday
