Zegna's jeans are the epitome of dad jeans, at least every pair I've seen. Albeit, some of them could be better described as the dad-who's-still-trying-too-hard jeans.

They are comfortable and play to the demographic like @madeinbogota said

as long as you didn't pay retail.

Couple years ago they did come out with some slim fitting black denim ones that were pretty modern/Young cut. Really wanted a pair for a while but I can never find a pair in my size
