Record snow (9”) and low temp 4 deg F here in south Louisiana!!

Some time before 6am pacific some kind of inventory reconciliation process updates and you’ll see a bunch more items/sizes on the site. During the day the number dwindles.

That stock may or may not be actually available as this is the season of order cancellation even if it’s not a $34 leather shirt.

Yesterday when new stuff was added to sale, I saw something like 145 items early morning. Mid afternoon it was down to 60 or so.

Winter was added to the sale on 1/21.

I did it all on ralphlauren.com. If an item is in stock at a RL store that is close enough to your delivery address, one of the shipping options at checkout is same day delivery for $25. When you pick this option, RL uses DoorDash for delivery. I paid a total of $59 ($34 for the the shirt plus $25 shipping).

Cool to know. I always wondered how RL, and other retailers, did same day delivery. I had no idea that DoorDash delivered more than food. TIL!

Is it fine to wear these as separates, without the jacket? The only reason I wonder is because of the grosgrain stripe - does that make it look like it must be part of a suit?

I would have looked at it and thought it must be part of a tux, but it's also clear it's not really a "tux" (given other pattern) so I guess goes to who cares, but what do you plan to pair though?

In cooler months, I would pair it with a dressy black cashmere v-neck sweater, tucked in. In warmer months (but probably never in summer), just the basic black western shirt. I just don't want it to look like, "Hey, where's the jacket?"
