What about starting a "conversation" on this forum?

When you start a conversation, you can invite as many members as you want, and it becomes a chain of messages. Basically another thread, but where you can control who can participate. It's private, so lurking scalpers won't see what we share there.

I saw that $34 shirt this morning not long after it went live. I ordered one for myself and messaged a couple guys I've been having conversations with about RRL deals. I had maybe single digit percentage confidence that it would ship.

The shirt was in stock at my local store when I ordered this morning, so I spent the extra $25 on same-day delivery. I figure I'm good unless Ralph himself shows up on my doorstep asking for it back...

I don't understand this. Did you call your local store and ask them to ship it to you from their stock for $34 plus $25 shipping? Or did you physically go to your local store and the SA ordered one for you from the RL website for those same dollar amounts? And did you take delivery on the shirt for the $59 total? Thanks for clarifying; maybe I'm the only one who didn't understand it. (I'm actually not looking to buy one, but just wondering how you got this to work.)

Same here. I really couldn't pull off wearing this. Really cool piece though.

Just the shirt. Jeans "shipped" the 17th, but UPS took possession this afternoon. Same facility, so not optimistic about the tint. Probably the same old stock.

FYI, the reason I'm so interested in this is I had a very similar experience this past summer. I ordered some Low Straights in different sizes, and some came in the newer tinted version while others came in the older, white weft, crumpled version. I like the tinted version better and those were the correct size, so I returned the others and had no reason to pursue it. But for future orders, I'd like to know whether RL will honor a request to ship out a specific version of a core jean. Your orders are serving as an experiment for us to learn from.
