is anyone going to try machine washing their brown fleece-collared denim jacket? sounds risky but okay according to the tag

I thought about this, and will likely give it a shot at some point in the next few weeks, mainly to see if it shrinks, which is my desired outcome

Does anyone have the corduroy trim tan deck jacket? Curious about the sizing 🤔

Same fit as the navy one. 😬
Kind of boxy. If you’re between sizes get the smaller.

What’s y’alls thoughts on shirts pockets being cut on the bias? I know it used to be considered the cheaper form of manufacturing because it takes time to line em up. More reminiscent of a particular decade or simply a style choice or what? Maybe I’m showing my age but is it something y'all consider? One thing that kinda irks me are pockets that have been lined up but slightly off the mark. I gotta think Ralph does this intentionally. But I don’t know the justification.

Bias cut pockets are fine to me.

Sometimes they pattern match.

Sometimes they do 90 degrees.

This bugs the hell out of me. I'm sure there's some heritage workwear reason for it besides being cheap but it still bugs me.

This also bugs me although I do like how they've done the yoke.

But for some reason horizontal stripes don't bug me.

I am not convinced all the pattern misalignements are intentional, as I mentionned a while ago for the shirts, in particular as it varies from one shirt to the other within the same style. I think RRL sometimes accept way too low manufacturing quality / fabrics for what they make us pay.

I just got the chore jacket and...what the f... is this lining ? I might keep it but ordered this way cheaper and probably way warmer Carhartt one before making a decision...

Some excellent examples. I’m with you, vertical are much more jarring

Might have a point there with the intentionality. Sometimes I think it’s well done, other times seem careless
