That blue owl chart for slim fit rinsed selvage is pretty accurate based on a quick check of mine.

@ww21943 you might be overthinking this a bit. You said you’re in New Jersey? Order a couple sizes from Ralph site and return the ones that don’t fit. Free shipping both ways. When you try them on, raw/one wash will seem tight. They stretch out a lot.

I was originally looking at low straight but was afraid they might be too baggy.

So these are low straights, but these may be baggy to you, since that’s a pretty personal preference

To me, low straights are the perfect jeans. As other said, order a few different sizes from RL.com and send back what doesnt work. Its one of the easier places to return to. Blue Owl only returns for store credit so its pretty risky.

Had I not bought Freewheeler's deck jacket a couple of years ago I would have bought this one in a heartbeat. I love bedford cord, but these pants seemed a little green on the site. Are they pretty much a khaki color?
I don’t really see any green in my pair. They do have the light distressing that just makes them see a little dirty.

That doesn't look baggy at all. That is the fit I am looking for. I took a risk by ordering 34 slim on eBay. New with tags for under $200. The seller had size 34 and 36. I asked them to take measurements of both. The 36 slim had a 38 waist and the 34 slim had a 36 waist.

I have a feeling I will still like the fit on this. Some sunny day when I have time off from work I'll head into the city and stop at the Double RL store and try on some other fits.

Looks great to me. Way more on the slimmer side than baggy

Seeing this makes me mad that we pay close to 10% sales tax in California
Pretty much all the municipalities around Seattle are over 10%. 😐

That's really the best way to find your fit, but depending on where you are (I am in Houston, and the RL here carries a very small selection of RRL denim, mainly only slim fits, and a couple pairs of vintage), the store may only have a limited number of fits. For years I'd stayed away from the slims for example, in favor of the low straight or straight, but tried a pair of these guys, and they seemed to fit better than I remember slims fitting in the past.

agree

I was a low straight guy since years, but now, and especially for summer and for more tailored outfits (jeans+sport jacket), I wear slim fit. Low straight are now my AW jeans (better with heavy shoes). Except on the leg opening, differences are not really obvious to be honest...(slim on the left - LS on the right)
